CTM, Centre de Telephone Mobile, was founded by Mr. Denis Tremblay on August 1, 1960. Located within the metropolitan area of Montreal, this small firm experienced a very rapid expansion. Supported by a rigorous work ethic and the organization's professionalism, CTM was able to solidify privileged client relations within the municipal and transportation markets.
With the advent of the cellular telephone in the 1990s, CTM responded by becoming the major Bell distributor of cellular technology within Québec and Ontario. At its height, the organization managed 18 sales locations and attracted over 300 employees within its ranks. It was in 2002, however, that CTM decided to withdraw from the cellular market in order to return to its origins and place its entire focus on the two way radio communication industry.
In accordance with this philosophy and to position itself within the two way radio market, CTM, during the past decade, acquired two of its competitors: Action Solution and M.S. Communications. CTM now has over 100 professionals dedicated to offering two way radio solutions within the Montreal, Québec, and Eastern Ontario/National Capital Regional markets.
